Leena Elmiladi is a current student in the Community College of Denver. She graduated from High school in 2019. She always strive to be involved in the school, so was in part of a majority of clubs and extracurricular activities. She was part of the Technology Student association, DECA, Instrumental Program and Tennis. She also was an honors student and always put her education first. She is often described as one having a hard work-ethic. Now in college, she is part of Phi beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Mu Mu,State Student Advisory Council and Student government. She wants to listen to our students, speak for our students and, most importantly, support all of our students across campus. Other organizations that she has worked with include Denver Museum of Nature and Science and a Children Hospital where she currently renders her services. These facilities have enabled her to interact with children firsthand, and to understand their needs, psychosocial aspects and the appropriate techniques for working with them. She has also worked on community service projects outside of the state. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and social settings to push society to become better. She went with her sister to Libya and taught students English together. As such, she learned the critical values of team working, communication, responsibility and leadership.She continues to work hard and continues to work with close leaders. She is a dedicated individual who not only dares to dream, but also hopes to contribute towards society.
