Jasmine Yap, a scientific researcher turned educator, is passionate about eliminating equity gaps in K-16 education. She earned her B.A. in psychology from Loyola University Maryland, her M.S. and Ph.D. in psychopharmacology from Tufts University, and her M.A. in Teaching in Diverse Contexts from University of Colorado Denver. She was an adjunct professor at University of Denver and taught high school chemistry and biology for several years prior to her current role at Community College of Aurora as an Inclusive Pedagogy Instructional Coach, where she partners with faculty and instructors to advance equity and inclusion in their diverse classes.
